On June 12th 2018, Infinity Blockchain Labs (IBL) was honored to be invited by the Ministry of Science and Technology to an invitation-only idea session in preparation for Blockchain Forum (https://blockchain.vnexpress.net/en), a major conference hosted by the Ministry of Science and Technology and organized by VnExpress.
Blockchain Forum explores importance of blockchain technology to Vietnam’s development. The Forum looks to inform not only policymakers but also the blockchain community and the general public. The event will be held on the morning of Thursday, June 14th 2018 at the JW Marriot Hotel, Do Duc Duc, in South Tu Liem, Hanoi VietNam.
IBL is the exclusive strategic partner in helping to support the organizers in creating contents and key discussions at this prestigious event. In laying foundation for the event, IBL’s experts were invited to deliver some key notes and join the panel discussion on this upcoming event. Representing IBL at the meeting were Mr. Yamamoto-san (CEO of IBL); Mr. Adam Vaziri (CEO of QRC); and Mr. Do Van Long (Regional Chief Strategy Officer of Infinity Blockchain Labs).

The June 12th organizational meeting was set in the office of the Ministry of Science and Technology and was attended by officials from the Ministry as well as other honored guests. The experts shared views about ways in which blockchain technology can be applied around the world. Mr. Adam Vaziri provided an overview of blockchain technology and its development. Mr. Do Van Long shared IBL’s ongoing development and expansion of the blockchain ecosystem in Vietnam as well as the company’s ambitious vision of Vietnam Blockchain Country.
The Ministry of Science and Technology representative, Mr. Tran Van Tung, expressed the view that the country welcomes and appreciates blockchain related input, feedback, and the exploration of blockchain-based case studies from countries around the world. The representative noted that the most challenging issues involve means of keeping the government and people current and educated on blockchain technology development.
