Dr. Thoai Nam
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thoai Nam is Director of Faculty of Computer Science & Engineering, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, VNU-HCM (HCMUT in short). He serves as head of the High Performance Computing Center at HCMUT and head of the Center of Computer Engineering at HCMUT. He received his Phd from Johannes Kepler University Linz, Austria and his current research interests include parallel processing, grid computing, high performance computing, and parallel & distributed simulation
Dr. Huynh Tuong Nguyen
Dr. Huynh Tuong Nguyen, a faculty member at Ho Chi Minh City University, is an expert in algorithms and resolutions (simulation, modeling & optimization) for real-life problems including: manufacturing scheduling, transportation problems, education management and assessment, digital currency and cryptography. He holds a PhD in Computer Science from Fran¸cois Rabelais University and his work has appeared in Asian Journal of Computer Science and Information Technology, European Journal of Operational Research, Journal of Scheduling and Mathematical Problems in Engineering.
Dr. Nguyen An Khuong
Yuji Akaba is a Co-founder and a Managing Director of Breakthrough Partners. The mission of Breakthrough Partners is to help entrepreneurs start up, develop and build world-class venture business based in Japan, or based on cross-border alliances with companies in Silicon Valley, China, Korea, India, Israel and so forth. While it works with companies in all stages, it has a unique approach to work with a would-be CEO of the company as co-founders to help with all aspects of venture business development.
As an advocate for entrepreneurship in Japan, Mr Akaba is often invited to speak on the topic in industry conferences and seminars. He also assists Japanese Government develop policies and action programs to foster high-technology start-ups in Japan.
Before establishing Breakthrough Partners, he was a Managing Director of Techfarm Asia Ventures, an Asian arm of Techfarm based in Silicon Valley.
Before joining Techfarm in 2000, he was a partner at McKinsey & Company, spending 14 years in developing strategies and introducing new systems and organizations to leading companies in Korea, Japan, China and Indonesia. He spearheaded McKinsey’s practice in Korea since 1990, leading the successful development of its Seoul office which grew beyond 120 staff in less than 10 years. From 1999, he led E-commerce and Internet Practice in the Seoul office and co-led in the Asia-Pacific region. He also initiated McKinsey’s effort in developing drastic action programs for Korean companies and government to overcome the Asian financial crisis which hit Korea in December 1997.
Prior to McKinsey, Mr Akaba worked six years as a design engineer at Komatsu, the world second largest construction machinery manufacturer. He was in charge of designing off-the-road dump trucks, fire-fighting vehicles and other special-purpose vehicles, focusing on their electronic and hydraulic control systems, and suspension and steering control systems.
He holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from University of Tokyo, an MS and the Degree of Engineer both in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University.
Adam is a blockchain lawyer and a tireless blockchain entrepreneur. Adam established Diacle in 2013 to assist blockchain projects with compliance. Adam believes that “Web3.0” will bring blockchain to the mainstream but RegTech is a necessity. With this in mind, Adam established QRC, a RegTech solution provider for the blockchain industry. Adam is also the founder of Blockpass, an identity system for regulated industries and the internet of everything.
Adam also founded other key resources for the blockchain regulatory community. He is the founder of the UK Digital Currency Association (UKDCA), a non-profit to promote the interests of the UK digital currency community. Adam is also the founder of Bitlegal.io, a tracker for global blockchain regulations dating back to 2014 that has been featured by CNN and The Washington Post.
Adam has also been involved in a number of other entities. Adam ran the first suite of blockchain hackathons around the world with HACKCOIN in the UK, India, Hong Kong, and Malaysia. He established Chain-Finance, a dedicated news and events resource for the financial services industry. Adam also founded Chain of Things, a global blockchain IoT lab to investigate the role of blockchain tech in securing IoT.
Dinh Tran Hoang Quan
Dinh Tran Hoang Quan accumulated 11+ years of experience working as a Bridge Source Engineer (BSE) in various technical areas such as logistics, big data, and retail systems. For more than 3 years, Quan has led the blockchain engineering team at IBL.
Spending most of his career in Japan, Quan has been entrusted with management roles in Vietnamese and Japanese companies in overseeing their development and technical support teams.
Junya Yamamoto established and managed businesses that were listed on the stock exchange before he graduated from university. Since 2012, he has been active in establishing IT venture funds that collaborate with large companies and corporations. In September 2015, he was entrusted with setting up Infinity Blockchain Labs.

Harry has more than 10 years working experience among multiple industries from Tech to Oil & Gas, Trading
as well as E-commerce and F&B both in Vietnam and Europe countries in which he focused on Entrepreneurship, Private Consultancy and Strategic Planning.
Across his career, Harry had been a person in charge of several multi million euros deals and gave advices for hundreds of Trading, Mergers and Acquisitions decisions for customers and partners from more than 80 countries.
With background in Engineering, Business & Management and a touch of Art, he decided to join blockchain world lately with the belief this tecnology will be the key innovation of this century and he looks forward to applying his skills set and business ideas in creating extraodinary solutions.
Nguyen Duc Phuong Nam (Steve)
He used to be an Executive Assistant to CEO of HD SAISON – one of the largest and oldest consumer finance companies in Vietnam. He also acted as Business Development and Finance Analysis/Analytics positions at various international companies.
Finding and believing that blockchain technology shall play an influential role in all existing industries, he decided to join Infinitive Blockchain Labs to prove and turn this belief into reality soon.
He graduated with Merit as a Master of Finance from Massey University (New Zealand), with more than ten years of working experience in multiple industries.
Ho Quan graduated from the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City, as well as the University of Languages and International Studies. He has 10+ years of experience in system and software game design. Past projects have included back and front end program development, business analysis and coordination with multinational companies.
Le Nhat Quang
Quang graduated his Master Degree from University of South Australia major in Computer Science. He worked as a researcher on Augmented Reality and achieved some world class acknowledgement awards. Moving out from research, he has ~10 years working in software industry in various fields: Enterprise Solutions, In house products, Outsourcing … Before joining IBL, he was a chief data scientist cum technical manager for the previous company in Singapore. He is now diving in blockchain technology / philosophy and having fun with cryptography, astract algebra and number theory.

Graduated from Nanzan University Business School of Administration and specialized in Banking and Financial Services. High-achieving professional and managerial experience in business strategy consulting, compliance, internal controls and risk management with a comprehensive educational background in business administration and human resource management strategies. Fluently communicate in Japanese and English
Nguyen Quoc Tuan
Tuan graduated from University of Birmingham (UK) major in Computer Security, he has 10+ years of working experience in Cyber Security consulting spanned across several industries including Financial Services, Technology, etc. He used to lead the Security Consulting team at PwC and Deloitte Vietnam focusing on key services such as Security Governance, Penetration Testing and Cyber Forensics. He is very much a security enthusiast and likes to spend his time researching vulnerabilities in various platforms and technologies.
With a career in the software industry for the last 20 years, Ashish brings business and technical experience from various sectors. With an interest in technology, Ashish has worked for fortune 500 software development companies in various roles starting as a software developer in his early years and later an architect and senior program manager. As an advisor to Software/IT companies around the world, for nine years Ashish also worked as a teaching faculty in an Australian university teaching both Computer Science and Business School courses. Besides management, his research interests are in the areas of machine learning, AI, software development, organization management & competency, entrepreneurial learning, and startups. He is currently the Head of R&D spearheading and exploring new platforms in Blockchain and related technologies.
An Luu studied at the University of Natural Sciences in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and has an MBA from the Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics. He has 11+ years of experience in software engineering and project management with more than 5 years as a project manager and delivery head diverse sectors including the automotive, technology, media, and entertainment industries.
